CultivatEd is a school-purpose support tool for K–12 teachers. Student data is collected and used solely to help teachers build classroom relationships and support student success. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to build profiles outside of this purpose.

Our commitments to schools
School-controlled access
Only the teacher who created a class can view their students' data. We do not aggregate, cross-reference, or benchmark student data across schools.
No advertising, no selling
Student data is never used for targeted advertising, sold to third parties, or disclosed outside the school-authorized purpose.
Limited AI disclosure
When AI features are enabled, only a narrowly defined set of fields (see Settings → AI features) is sent to our AI provider. Demographic data, disability status, family contact information, and other sensitive fields are never included.
Export and deletion on request
Teachers can export a full student record at any time. Deleted records enter a 60-day grace period before permanent removal.
SOPIPA compliance (California)
CultivatEd is designed and marketed for K–12 school purposes. We do not build student profiles for non-school purposes, and we do not use covered information for targeted advertising.
FERPA alignment
CultivatEd operates as a school official acting under the direction of the contracting school. Use is limited to the legitimate educational purpose for which the data was shared.

To request a signed DPA, ask questions about data handling, or report a concern, contact us at privacy@cultivated.app. We respond to school and district inquiries within 3 business days.
